Kinetic Comedy is an energetic comedy night, showcasing the best up-and coming cream of the UK comedy crop.

Every show is unique, with each line-up featuring talented acts of different races, cultures and genders to bring London audiences the most diverse, one-of-a-kind comedy experience they are likely to find, in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Each show is hosted by multi award nominated comedian Inel Tomlinson (RTS NW – Best Comedy Performance), as he guides the audience through an evening of comedy, games and unique interactive competitions.

Kinetic Comedy has become well known for its new levels of high energy comedy, a fantastic diverse showcase of multicultural talent and stupidly high levels of fun to be had by all.

In the UK comedy circuit which is so often segregated by race, Kinetic Comedy is overcoming this barrier by offering an all inclusive multi-cultural event showcasing a vast array of talent from all backgrounds.

After 6 years of entertaining at smaller venues, we are looking to continue our diverse comedy line-up at a larger capacity venue in a central London location to enable us to make the show more accessible

The aim of our live interactive event is to change the perception of what a comedy show should be.
At our shows, we actively encourage maximum audience engagement and feedback so we can keep providing the best experience to keep people coming back!

Parallel to this, building on our passion for nurturing new comedic talent, our goal is to run workshops to teach young people the skills to unlock their potential in the industry.
The workshops would be focused on developing creative skills as an individual and as part of a group, whilst learning the basics of stand up comedy & sketch writing from our talented professional

mentors.

The culmination of the workshop would be a live performance giving the students a platform to showcase all their new skills, which would be filmed to be used as part of the individuals

portfolio.

With founder Inel Tomlinson’s background as a qualified secondary school drama teacher coupled with his experience in the industry, he has the skills necessary to help teach the students how to find material from their own unique experiences and turning them into confidently delivered stand-up and sketches.

Initially we would be targeting young adults(16-21 years) so these workshops not only would help nurture up & coming new talent but also help us build our community of recurring guests we already have from the live events.

Government research recently has shown that engaging in culture is greatly beneficial to a young person’s wellbeing and also increases the likelihood of them going on to further education. Evidence shows that cultural participation enriches social relationships and strengthen communities.

Kinetic Comedy’s vision for its shows and workshops is to make the performing arts more accessible to people of all walks of life so that we can help nurture potential new UK talent.
